APRIL 19, 2013 EARTH DAY CRITICAL MASS RIDE

Joined Firefly event..assembly at Cubao Expo..to UP Dilliman..to QC Ninoy Aquino Wildlife in connection with Earth Day Celebration.

ROTARIDE-Padyak Para sa Kalikasan - Bike Run April 7, 2013

Left Cainta 5:30 am, I thought the assembly venue was the Marikina Sports Complex but ended up ....at the Marikina City Hall same as Habagat's Night Right last weekend. My cousin is supposed to randevous, but ill be left behind by the group as the ride is already starting...sorry insan, bawi ako next time. Cooked chicken adobo binalot style, supposed to have a picnic at the dam but mahirap kumain na walang kasama, inuwi ko na lang..The ride was for a good cause, it was a fund raising for the activities of the Rotary Club of Marikina Heights, Registration with a raffle ticket was 400 pesos and you get a souvenir jersey and a chance to win a Mountain Bike ( it was a Ryder bike..about 10k in Quiapo) puede na and i was hoping to win but i ended up going home empty handed under the scourging heat of the sun at 40 degrees c . I did not do the usual photo ops since this is my 2nd time in Wawa Dam and im not excited anymore, all i had in mind was..to rush back home beating the 12noon heatwave..and yes indeed i was home before 12 noon, still i was half toasted! ...i forgot to turn the thing on on my way to Marikina..thats plus 8 kms total of 72kms....look at the temperature 40 degrees C

Assembly area: in front of Marikina City Hall, ride started late around past 8pm....I did'nt realize Markinia is a rolling terrain, i thought its just all plain ..easy for  road biking but its not!

DARANAK - BATLAG FALLS

March 31 2013, Easter Sunday Solo ride to Daranak Batlag Falls...there i met again the Taguig Bikers..left Cainta about 6am, arrived in Tanay about 9am.'

Its my first time to see a real waterfall I had been planning this ride for weeks and im not envy anymore...
